Beginning Teacher Monthly Meetings
New teachers network and learn with peers at monthly working meetings strategically designed to address their needs as they move through the predictable phases of first-year teachers. This unique support is a great way to connect with friends over a light supper and engage in active and reflective learning. Many teachers tell us they use what they learned the very next day in their classrooms!
Meetings are offered twice. Our hope is that if you can’t make it on Tuesday, you can come on Wednesday. Meetings are from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday meetings are at CNTC headquarters, 320 N. Elizabeth Street, second floor, with free parking one block away in the CPS lot on Fulton, between Elizabeth and Ada. The location of Wednesday meetings will float to various locations about the city. Check www.chicagontc.org for updates, and for details on our quarterly meetings for special educators.
